Our Top Picks For July 2024: Fashion Bloggers
Well, July has arrived! Now to start the countdown for Christmas (joking!!).
For this month’s Top Picks, we have chosen to highlight fashion bloggers! Fashion bloggers have prevailed and remain one of the most influential areas of marketing within the past decade!
And because of this, we’ve been busily beavering away on our updated list of top fashion bloggers 2024 for the month.
As always, we start with our heroes – the travel bloggers we think are at the top of their game right now.
Then, after that, who’s on the list? Don’t worry, we aren’t missing out on our mentions and rising stars – creative geniuses to look out for over the coming months.
The Blonde Salad
Chiara Ferragni is the brilliant mind behind “The Blonde Salad” – a blog that started back in 2009 as a personal style diary, and has since grown into a huge lifestyle platform. Chiara started collaborating with top-tier luxury brands like Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton before launching her own fashion line.
However, her blog is in Italian, so you’ll have to rely on Google Translate to make any sense of it if (like me) you don’t understand the language.
We can’t wait to see what she does next!
Camila Coelho
Camila Coelho is a Brazilian fashion and beauty influencer, who started her career as a makeup artist before launching her blog and YouTube channel in 2010.
On Camila’s blog she posts in depth reviews of beauty products, trending hair styles, and of course, her outfit picks. Her style blends high fashion with accessible, effortless style which is perfect for audiences without a budget to spend on big luxury brands. AND she doesn’t gatekeep – if a piece has been bought off the hanger, she’ll be sure to tag it!
In addition to her blog and social media presence, Camila has launched her own fashion line, the Camila Coelho Collection.
Aimee Song
Aimee Song is the fabulous creator behind “Song of Style“. Aimee covers fashion, interior design, and lifestyle topics. Sadly her blog isn’t active anymore. These days, Aimee is more of a public figure on Instagram.
Here’s a top tip: you can read her older posts through the Wayback Machine! +1 for technology!
Aimee’s Instagram content mixes high-end fashion with everyday wear. She breaks away from the idea that you have to mix high-end with high-end, and it’s great to see what she comes up with by wearing simple items. Breaking and remoulding societal ‘taboos’ like this is just one of the reasons why we commend Aimee.
Ohh Couture
With over 4.8 million followers on Instagram, German blogger Leonie Hanne is a fashion icon. She’s known for using distinctive brands to develop her unique style.
Leonie’s career began as a strategy consultant in business and fashion management. However, she soon realized that blogging was the way forward, setting up her blog Ohh Couture in 2014.Â
Since then, she’s become a full-time influencer (and who can blame her?) She focuses on chic and feminine fashion with a glamorous touch, often wearing designer pieces from her wardrobe. Much of her content is aspirational but she also brings it down to earth sometimes.
Leonie’s main audience is young adult women under age 35 interested in living luxurious lifestyles from Asia, Europe, and parts of North America. We love her visually appealing content and the extra effort she puts into making everything look polished (something you will notice when you hop onto her Instagram account).
Numerous top brands work with Leonie, including Louis Vuitton, Valentino, and Chanel. And leading fashion shows in London, New York, and Paris are always happy to give her front-row seats (lucky thing!)
The Fashion Advocate
If you love sustainable and ethical fashion, check out Claire Goldsworthy, The Fashion Advocate. Her blog, launched in 2014, aims to raise awareness of fast fashion and encourage her readership to make more eco-conscious choices.Â
Claire hails from Australia and is a journalist/entrepreneur by training. We love how her site has become a directory for people looking for the best brands in the region to reduce their environmental impact. Naturally, her blog focuses on wide-ranging topics on sustainable fashion, including how to pick an eco-friendly wardrobe and avoid micro-plastic-containing garments.
As you might imagine, much of Claire’s work involves advocacy – being a voice for change in the industry. But the best thing about Claire is how active she is. She constantly communicates with her loyal following via Instagram and other channels, keeping them up-to-date with everything she’s doing as the Fashion Advocate. It’s her openness and commitment that makes her blog so exciting! Other influencers and business leaders interview her regularly about her mission, passion, and successes, gaining her several awards.
Atlantic Pacific
Blair Eadie has run her site, Atlantic Pacific, for nearly fifteen years. She began the project to share her love of fashion from the East to the West Coast. However, her creation has since ballooned into a global phenomenon.Â
Eadie focuses primarily on colourful outfits that make her feel good, always taking her signature sunglasses wherever she goes. Even so, her fashion choices always evolve so her content doesn’t get stale (a nice touch).
To date, Eadie has worked with numerous high-end brands in the fashion space, including Zara, Ralph Lauren, and J.Crew. She’s also applied her talents in the beauty industry, collaborating with L’Oreal, Moroccan Oil, and Cover Girl – a remarkable achievement.
Olivia Palermo
Olivia Palermo is one of the most recognizable faces in the fashion industry, famous for being a socialite, influencer, and entrepreneur. Her blog (of the same name) aims to be inclusive and enable readers to be the best versions of themselves.Â
Olivia’s style once incorporated geometrical prints, bright colours, relaxed suiting, and florals. However, her recent clothing and fashion choices are highly experimental. Expect plenty of brilliant green frocks and tartan-style dresses!
Olivia also owns a fashion line that she sells through social media platforms. Shoppers can find her garments on her blog and click on images of her modelling clothes to see a breakdown of the attire and their prices.
Glamazon Diaries
A clever play on the word “glamour” and a well-known ecommerce retailer, Glamazon Diaries is the creation of Makeda Rabioux. The self-described “tastemaker” and body-positive advocate set up the blog in 2007 to inspire modern women to explore their style, regardless of weight.
As such, Makeda’s audience comprises people of all shapes and sizes. Her message is one of encouragement (which we love).
Makeda’s journey to fashion began in Accra, Ghana, where she grew up. Later, her family moved to Virginia in the U.S. where she continued her education before transferring to New York to start her career.
Makeda’s style is eclectic and she isn’t afraid to try new things. Her content centres on her love for prints, basket bags, and statement accessories, giving her blog a distinctly summery feel.
But that’s not all. Makeda also takes you on adventures across the globe in her travel diaries and talks frankly about her experiences as a mother. It’s the full monte!
Egg Canvas
NYC-based Erica Choi always makes us laugh with her funnily-named blog, Egg Canvas. But it’s actually a translation from her Korean nickname from childhood, dalgyal (egg) referring to the shape of her face!Â
Erica started her career as an esthetician, designing a vegan skincare brand using natural botanicals. Building from this base, she turned Egg Canvas into a venue for her audience to get fashion, beauty, and travel insights. Since then, she’s been featured in Cosmopolitan, Business Insider, Allus, NYC Go, Refinery29, and many other outlets. She’s also done design work for notable clients, including British Airways, Cartier, Google, Grey Goose, and Jo Malone.
Much of Erica’s fashion content focuses on her favourite fashion brands. Just like us, she loves Cecilie Bahnsen, Jil Sander, Loro Piana, Sacai, and Simone Rocha (among others). And, as you might guess, her overriding style is chic and sophisticated.
Girl With Curves
We believe every woman deserves to feel beautiful, regardless of size and shape – and so does the founder of Girl With Curves, Tanesha Awasthi. The designer and leading influencer (which caters to a massive 1.5 million women globally) presents solutions to everyday style issues, including body image, motherhood, and self-esteem. She believes in providing a supportive and relatable space to her audience so they can thrive. And because of her unique approach and success, she’s featured in numerous publications, including InStyle, Marie Claire, and Glamour (go girl!)
But Tanesha’s approach isn’t just about branding. She’s genuinely passionate about helping people. That’s why her blog presents a heartfelt letter to her readership about her issues with body image and self-esteem as a tall woman with a size 12 shoe. She recounts her knee problems and how attempting to attain the so-called “ideal” physical shape was impossible for her (as it is for so many others). Naturally, Girl With Curves became an outlet for Tanesha to begin accepting her perceived flaws. It was a venue where people with similar issues could join together and celebrate fashion without constantly worrying about perceptions.
On top of this, Tanesha shares her style stories while performing her duties as a mother and a wife. Despite her Berkeley education, she reveals how life hasn’t been easy for her, helping her resonate even more with her audience. (We love this personal touch).
Harper & Harley
Sara Crompton’s fashion blog Harper & Harley believes in a “less is more” approach to style and home design (which is great if you are anything like us and want to cut down the size of your wardrobe!) Her content is a breath of fresh air – just what you need this summer.Â
Interestingly, Sara previously starred on the Australian reality show, Fashion Bloggers where she worked with some of the top brands in the industry, including Gucci and Nike. Here, she made a name for herself and landed some non-fashion partnerships, including with L’Oreal and Dyson.
However, despite this fame and fortune, her blog remains down-to-earth. It speaks directly to ordinary women looking for advice.
For example, much of Sara’s content focuses on maximizing wardrobes dominated by greys, whites, and blacks. It’s not the sexiest clothing, but it is what most of us spend our time wearing. Her work also focuses on blazers and finding summer staple outfits readers can wear daily (we love you, Sara!)
Notable Mentions
So, those were our top fashion blogger picks for July 2024. We’d recommend checking out all of them.
Next, we look at some of our “notable mentions.” These are less established fashion bloggers making waves in the space. Many offer unique perspectives you won’t find anywhere else (great if you love niche fashion).
Sincerely Jules
Sincerely Jules is a no-BS insight into Jules Sarinana’s fashion world. Launched in 2009, the blog started as an outlet for the young blogger to manage the stress of a hectic life. Writing gave her a sense of freedom she seldom enjoyed in her conventional career, helping her follow her heart and achieve her dreams. Now it’s a go-to resource for thousands of women.Â
Why we picked her: Helpful advice when you just can’t choose what to wear.
Kayture
Strictly speaking, Kristina Bazan isn’t a fashion blogger. But she is such a popular influencer who covers style we just had to include her in this post.Â
Only 24, she’s been through more career jumps in early adulthood than most people experience in a lifetime. Starting as an international it girl, she became an author and then a singer, working with top fashion houses including Thierry Mugler, Dolce Gabbana, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier.
Why we picked her: Eclectic and unique content about style and living an extraordinary life
Bryanboy
Philippine Blog Awards’ Blogger of the Year, Bryan Grey-Yambao also deserves a mention on this list. The star is known for his witty humor, funny commentary, and collaborations with top male publishers.Â
Why we picked him: His passion for style and the uplifting energy he lavishes on his audience
Negin Mirsalehi
Negin Mirsalehi is a fashion blogger known for her sartorial splendor and business skills (a woman of many talents!) Her generous content shares insights into how to be successful and make your mark in any field with the help of impeccable fashion.Â
Since her debut, Negin has become an inspiration for global female entrepreneurs. Her success is just what’s needed to inspire others.
Why we picked her: Explains how to combine style with entrepreneurialism and professionalism
Gabi FreshÂ
Gabi Gregg’s began Gabi Fresh to fill the annoying gap in the market for fashion content for plus-size women. (Well done, Gabi!) She wanted something to create something uplifting that would promote body positivity while remaining stylish.Â
Since going viral in 2012, Gabi Fresh has celebrated larger women and helped them find their confidence. Her outfits are full of life (like she is) and are uniquely playful in a way only she could pull off. Read her blog to learn how to rock everything from pantsuits to the “fatkini.” It’s genius!
Why we picked her: Puts plus-size women feel at ease regardless of their wardrobe
